Afternoon Steve, Christina,

Yesterday's meeting revisited an issue that keeps popping up and sidetracking progress -- that the ORE somehow establishes the specs for, and is a predecessor to, an NDP cloud native platform being built (or to be built?) in the colo or some other location.

Actually, the reverse is true.

The Government already has the detailed specs and functions provided within the OTA for an NDP cloud native platform. The Government gave them to us in our ORE task order 1 as "Triton Platform" and required us to build and configure a production-level ORE in our E3 Lab to accommodate them, which we are doing per our Kanban (same situation as the colo in Equinox, except we control the entire end-to-end networking stack). (Task order PWS attached.)

The ORE is one of many cloud native applications that will be hosted in and consume services from the NDP cloud native platform on government-procured hardware (storage, compute, networking) in the Equinox facility. The ORE has been designed to be deployed on to any platform environment (hyperscale cloud -- i.e., AWS, Azure, Oracle, VMWare, Google, etc).

It appears in our meetings, however, that the Government, in claiming it needs to base its NDP build substantially on the ORE, is questioning its own granular NDP platform requirements that were provided to us in Task Order 1. In yesterday's meeting, this seemed to include skepticism toward the industry/international and task order technologies and processes classified as "cloud native."

All the specs/requirements for an NDP cloud native platform to support the ORE and other future applications are spelled out in detail in our task order, which should be leveraged by the NDP team to build and configure the platform on government hardware just as we did in E3 Lab. This graphic shows the elements of Triton Platform that should be replicated in the NDP core nodes.

2 Twelve can supply advice and assistance based on our successful prototyping and now production scaling of the government-spec'd ORE and Triton Platform.

If more is needed -- integration and implementation of the ORE and/or Triton on NDP infrastructure, for instance -- please let me know.

v/r, Tom
